Hi, I’m Cora Hall. I started sewing at the age of 11. I’ve been
mostly self-taught with help from my mother. Through the
years, I have continued this art learning the trends, new
techniques, and keeping up with new products.
I started teaching my grandchildren to sew about 10 years ago and realized that I really enjoyed teaching.
Out of necessity, I became a nurse and after retiring I went back to my passion of teaching sewing.
Over the years, I have added quilting to my passion list. I have taken many classes on quilting and purchased a longarm quilting machine with a 12-foot table to be able to bring longarm quilting to my customers. I continue to
keep up with changes in the quilt world by attending classes and going to quilt shows.
I opened my shop to bring to the community the heritage of sewing and quilting. This used to be passed down from
mother/grandmother to their children for generations. These days, it does not get taught in the school systems, yet remains a necessity.
